Hudson Restaurant Week January 24-February 4th

Tip of the Month: Open Gym



As the weather gets more and more fierce, Moms are looking for fun things to do more than ever!  An inexpensive way to get your little one out of the house is open gym...  A few open gym websites and tips are listed below.  Prices are around $10 per open gym session, and it might be a good idea to look into the age-appropriateness of the facility....


  • Bounce U 70 Eisenhower Drive Paramus, NJ 07652 (201)843-5880.  They have REALLY cool inflated-climbers, but look into the website: http://www.bounceu.com/open-bounce-u/ to see if your child is going to be into it- little ones might want to wait until they're a little older.  They'll love it soon, too!

    Children will gain the confidence to make smart decisions and stay safe in any babysitting situation. Every Red Cross Babysitter walks away with a certificate of completion and a professional Babysitter's Portfolio.

    American Red Cross: Cat and Dog Pet First Aid
    American Red Cross Pet First Aid classes give pet owners the confidence and skills necessary to tend to unexpected emergencies until they can get their pet to a veterinarian.

    American Red Cross: Child and Infant CPR
    A certified Red Cross Infant and Child CPR Instructor will teach how to care for conscious and unconscious choking infants and children, and how to perform CPR on an infant and child.

    American Red Cross: First Aid and CPR/AED Certification
    Learn how to: recognize and respond quickly to an emergency; call and work with EMS; minimize the risk of disease transmission while providing care; prevent, recognize and provide care for breathing emergencies; perform CPR and care for cardiac emergencies.

    American Red Cross: Professional Rescuer CPR/AED

    MOPS Picasso Pajama Party



    MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) invites moms-to-be and moms with kids through age 6 are invited to join others at the "Picasso Pajama Party." Yes, please wear your PJs. The topic to be discussed will be the importance of play time. Members will share their reviews of some games they were asked to preview and everyone will be able to participate in a game.
